Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie is founded by the printer Niels Lund and publishes its first edition of

Aarhuus Stifts Tidender are printed 4 times a week to 400 subscribers

Investment in first steam

celebrates its 100-year anniversary
1904
Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie
receives first orders for telephone directories from Jydsk Telefon-Aktieselskab
1927
The newspaper division (Aarhuus Stifts Tidender) of Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie is sold and Hans Kiær acquires Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie
1949
Hans Kiærs son, Erik Kiær, takes over Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie. Erik Kiær brings new technology into Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie
1964
Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie now prints all Danish telephone directories
1966
Erik Kiær and his wife Ingrid, with a deed of gift, transferred 99.7% of the shares in the company to the Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie Foundation
1976
Stibo Sats (now Stibo Systems A/S) is established and focuses on product information
1979
CCI Europe (now Stibo DX A/S) is established and focuses on editorial software for the newspaper industry
2000
Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie
invests in the world’s largest heatset printing press, LitoMAN IV
2001
Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie builds new CCI Europe headquarter in Højbjerg (the present Stibo headquarter)
2007
Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie
changes name to Stibo A/S and Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie Foundation changes name to STIBO-FONDEN
2012
Stibo Printing Solutions A/S (now Stibo Complete A/S) becomes the largest printing company in Scandinavia with the acquisition of Color Print A/S and Scanprint A/S
2015
Stibo Systems A/S becomes world leader in Master Data Management solutions
2019: The Stibo Group celebrates its 225th anniversary
